Gods, Spirits and Demons

The religious universe is dualistic, with a good / light / positive side and an evil /dark / negative one.

Gods and their priests have a symbiotic relationship, with the worshipped being able to grant power to the worshippers. The more Worshippers, the more power can be granted.

It is common for ambitious priests to seek out an unworshipped spirit and build a congregation, bolstering its power, and gaining power in return. Likewise unworshipped spirits will Reveal themselves to people capable of channelling power to them, in the hope of starting their own cult.

Light Gods are the source of Healing and restorative magic, and Dark, of death and draining magic.

Demons may be created whenever blood magic is used. They are chaotic, untrustworthy, ravenous, and dangerous.
