Construction Calculations

Woodformed Road.

based on 2 castings per day.

On flat ground (3-4" thick)

700'/day 1mile/week.

on rough ground (6" thick)

400'/day 1/2 mile/week

Sturdy Buildings

(8" walls, 40hp)

A three family (each 10’x20’) semi-detached peasant house with 40hp (8”) walls and a lighter roof with one casting

for light domestic construction if you allowed 2” thickness then with some care to form struts and bracing you could in two hours use woodform to form a structure of up to 60 10’x10’ panels. (6000sq’ surface area)

e.g. A 60’ by 20’ building of six 10’x20’ rooms with a pitched roof, for example.

Each wall section would have 10hp. so might stop an orc raider for two to three rounds. it might last the winter.

If you go two storey you need to double the thickness of the bottom floor walls at minimum

A solid two storey Watchtower with 1foot thick walls, 10'x10x20'tall, with a solid roof and floor. Doors and shutters need to be fixed afterwards.
