Chapter One

Benin, Kuljazar and Methomet are asked by Zhahenin, a mid level functionary of the commissariat, to investigate some irregularities at the state granaries of Bayt’azir. Journeying by teleportal, they take room sat the hostel, and with Kuljazar made invisible as a spy, they visit the granaries. All seems to be honest, if confused at mysterious shortages.
